Why have we set up this directory?
The Young Hounslow Directory has been created to provide a free, impartial information
service to the children, young people, families and practitioners within Hounslow
about local services and organisations.
The aim of this website is to inform children, young people, families, and those
that work with them, about the range of service provisions that are available to
help meet and support their needs.
Through this website we hope to be able to ensure that:
-
Children and young people will
be able to gain access to information, activities and services that can support
their needs.
-
Parents and carers will be able
to access information and services that can support their children’s needs
and enable them to be proactive in getting the help they need.
-
Practitioners will be able to
make faster and more appropriate referrals to agencies that can assist those they
are working with.
How can you help us improve the directory?
The Young Hounslow Directory is still developing and we will be adding more services
as we get information about them. If you know of any services that you think should
be in the directory please contact us.
We would also like to know your views of the directory. We would welcome any suggestions
about how we could improve the directory to make it easier for you to use.
